Biography
Short. Gabriele Rauzino composes piano music that lives in the space between silence and memory.
Gabriele Rauzino composes piano music that lives in the space between silence and memory. Born on the Lazio coast, in Torvaianica, he writes neoclassical piano with a Mediterranean accent.
Largely self-taught, he began at the keyboard as a child and turned a technical education in electronics into a second instrument — the studio itself. His seasons — È già estate, È già inverno — and a steady run of singles arrive through Halidon Music, each returning to the sea that raised them.
Alongside his own records he works as a sonic designer, composing the sound identities of brands and spaces. The ambition now is the stage, and the screen: to bring these pieces to a live audience, and to write for film.
